Social Responsibility

OVAG International deals with people from all over the world every day, many of whom have serious health problems or have had life changing accidents. As part of OVAG’s wider commitment to society, we also give back to the communities we live in and work with. Each year we donate to associations that directly assist those in need and that support the families of children when they most need it.

Charity

Since 1974, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) has created programs that strengthen families during difficult times. RMHC provides vital resources and compassionate care to children and their families being served by leading hospitals worldwide. Core RMHC programs — Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile programs — provide access to health care and enable family-centered care.

Donations

Since 1960  PluSport has been committed to people with disabilities and their sport. It supports people with disabilities by offering programs for all types of recreational and competitive sports, for all target groups and all ages, and for all types of disabilities – always with the goal of promoting integration and inclusion.

Environmental Policy

OVAG International has a responsibility to the environment beyond regulatory requirements. Not only do we continually look for opportunities to reduce our environmental impact, but we also encourage our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to do the same. We motivate our employees to adopt effective environmental practices designed to reduce the unsafe use of energy, materials and other natural resources to decrease the generation of waste, and to enable recycling and reuse of materials. 

Taxation Policy

OVAG International ensures compliance with tax laws and international guidelines, viewing taxes as part of its corporate social responsibility. We are committed to ethical business practices, firmly opposing corruption and bribery. Strict internal controls are in place to maintain integrity, with adherence to tax laws.

Sexual Harassment Policy

OVAG International prohibits any form of unwelcome behavior, advances, or conduct of a sexual nature that creates a hostile or uncomfortable work environment. We are committed to fostering a workplace where all employees are treated with dignity and respect. Any reports of sexual harassment will be taken seriously, thoroughly investigated, and addressed with appropriate action. Retaliation against individuals who report harassment is also prohibited. We encourage open communication, and all employees are responsible for upholding this policy to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace for everyone.

Employment Standards

Employees are informed about their employment rights and we do not restrict employees’ rights to terminate employment. We do not engage in forced employment or employ children. Employees are paid according to regulations governing salaries and benefits. We respect employees’ rights to open communication and equitable treatment and ask for participation in our business. We provide information about matters that might affect employees and Management commit to respond to questions or grievances raised by employees relating to employment standards, rights and any other matters of concern.
