It is crucial to identify international patients and any insurance coverage at registration or as soon as possible thereafter through the domestic accounts process. Up-to-date information and current invoices make the payment process easier and faster. We can provide training as well as feedback from other clients to strengthen your internal processes.

Place the account

While factors like outdated information can complicate the process, once an international account is identified and your internal processes are complete, send us the account in order to initiate the international billing and recovery process. We take care of the rest to ensure information is communicated to patients, questions are answered and payment is received.

Contractual agreement

New customers can obtain details about the contracting process, the flow of information, how payments are received and the pricing structure on our new clients page. Answers to frequently asked questions can be reviewed on our FAQ page for providers and any other questions can be sent to us via any of the options on our contact page.

Account Submission

Easily submit single or multiple cases through the agreed upon method. The more details and supporting documents you provide the smoother the process. We confirm receipt and start our work.

 Assigned to the team

We check the details and commence work immediately. Our seasoned Account Managers are experienced in local procedures, legalities, languages, tracing and ensuring effective billing and recovery while preserving customer relationships.

Contact

Using letters, calls, emails and messaging, we aim to obtain information, identify insurance and sources of payment quickly. We deal with questions, requests for information and documents, and allow you to focus on your core business. 

Progressing further

Multiple contact attempts are made and depending on their responsiveness and financial situation we will follow other options such as payment plans, file probate or bankruptcy cases, take legal action, report to authorities.

Staying informed

Receive information automatically into your own system according to your own preferences, via our standard reports or contact your Customer Relations Manager to ask questions and obtain updates.

Success

Payment posting

Payments made to OVAG by patients and insurances are promptly sent to you with the information to correctly apply these to your own system.

Invoicing

At the end of the month we reconcile payments and invoice fees to ensure our systems match and that patients accounts are correctly resolved so they no longer receive reminders.
